Led Piperz was born...
...with a 2 piece grind core/r'nroll/metal cover band in the mid 90's (guitar/drums) as a guitarist and screamer....playing early napalm death, terrorizer,carcass, sodom, motorhead and more.......got into electronic music bought decks in 96 and .....mostly psychedelic stuff at the time (hail to the kosmix! ;) ....joined high tone in 2000 as a vj and the jfx crew.....started spinning old jungle and drum'n bass with the big dub sound crew with dj12 and dino after the gigs and various parties....Started to make music again in 2002, after a few d'n bass try outs .....got into sampling and more abstract hip hop stuff during long hours on the road with the band.....first released track on the 'dopebeats vol.1' compilation in early 2005 featuring carbon copies from picore.....next track was released in january 2006 on the Jarring effects 'audioactivism' compilation....Started making heavier electro stuff after being mashed up live by bands like techno animal, vex'd,the bug,dälek and the brit dubstep scene.....slower heavy beats and distorted basslines mixed with psychedelic sounds are the main components of what i make right now....

...le projet live machine de Nicolas Thiry, vidéaste de High Tone et également Dj sous le pseudo Dj Stiff, Led Piperz propose un son très marqué par le hip-hop alternatif ainsi que par la scene dubstep british. La grande différence est la rencontre qu..il opère entre ces visions de la musique et sa culture rock, dub ou électro. Une musique passionnante et innovante pour un live où les styles sont revus, corrigés et maltraités pour un résultat jouissif.
